Emma Noel Votapek: Violin, Viola and String Quartet

Emma is available as a solo violinist for wedding ceremonies, receptions, dinner parties, cocktail hours, private concerts, gallery openings and other events. If you prefer a larger ensemble, she can also provide a string quartet for your event. Please contact her for more information about performance rates, ensemble type and repertoire. * * * * * * * * * * * * Emma Noel Votapek currently holds the assistant principal 2nd violin position in the Tucson Symphony. Prior to joining the TSO, she played for five years in the Honolulu Symphony. She also performed as both solo and tutti violinist with the Bach Chamber Orchestra while in Hawaii . An active chamber musician, Emma is a member of the DayStar String Quartet, and has appeared recently in the University of Arizona Ives/Copland Music Festival, with the Tucson Chamber Artists, at the studios of Hawaii Public Radio, on the Pacific International Concert Artists series, and in numerous other venues in Hawaii and the mainland. In addition to performing, Emma has extensive experience teaching violin and coaching chamber music, most recently at the prestigious Punahou School in Honolulu. During the summer, she has participated in the Britt and Wintergreen Music Festivals, and has played regularly with the Festival Orchestra in Bloomington, Indiana.
