About Duo Bellissimo: Duo Bellissimo has been bringing exotic, memorable and engaging performances of flute and harp music to the Southwest for more than 15 years. Their CD, Women in Black, receives international airplay, and is sold on Amazon.

Harpist Christine Vivona received a Master of Music from The Juilliard School and a Doctorate in harp performance from the University of Arizona. She is principal harp for True Concord and 
plays harp II with the Tucson Symphony.

Flutist Sandy Schwoebel holds Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees in flute performance. She taught flute at Pima Community College for 30 years and worked as a Teaching Artist for Tucson’s nationally-acclaimed Opening Minds through the Arts Program for nine years, helping to create kindergarten curriculum.

Both Christine and Sandy have performed with many celebrities including Ray Charles, Johnny Mathis, The Moody Blues, Christopher Cross, Roberta Flack, Al Jarreau, Tricia Yearwood, Linda Ronstadt and Neko Case.

About Monsoon Brass: since its founding in 2016, Monsoon Brass has quickly become a dominant voice in the Arizona arts scene. Comprised of some of the highest caliber brass players in the Southwest, Monsoon Brass regularly performs highly demanding recitals, featuring genres not often performed by standard brass quintets. Their enthusiasm for new compositions has led them to commission several new works, and they enjoy bringing to life many overlooked compositions from the past century. Whether performing Renaissance music, colossal modern works, or jazz music with thrilling improvisation by trumpeter Jason Carder, Monsoon Brass brings a fresh perspective to brass chamber music.
